The high res export we colored showed no errors and has definitely saved, but missed a lot of it. The XML project showed an error message that it couldn't save before we gave up on it. To me this seems like a database corruption issue, and I did just have this client's project crash Resolve multiple times trying to import an XML prior to just coloring an export since the XML wouldn't work. I have automatic backups setup to run every half hour, but when I go to the folder where the backups are it's a jumble of drx and database files, I don't know where my actual files are supposed to be or if their color was even saved if I take the time to find them. I made a DRP export just prior to exporting the video, and then I did another one after, both have color missing that was put into the exported video. What's more is I do live save, automatic backups, and I make my own exports periodically. I've got close to 60 shots with no color on them that I definitely colored yesterday and exported to the client for review. I just fired up Resolve for a project I'm actively working on right now and a large number of my grades are gone for a 10 minute project I just colored yesterday.
